The challenge
Forests, wetlands, grasslands and renewable energy hold enormous climate value, yet most projects are locked out of carbon markets by costly verification, fragmented registries, thin transparency and low investor confidence. In Uganda, more than 90% of households still cook on firewood or charcoal.
